Turning Mattress
The Heritage II Digital Turn is a high specification turning mattress with dual modality of alternating and continuous low pressure. Manual turning of patients can be intrusive, especially during the night and often results in disturbed sleep. Likewise, with the current climate of staff shortages, nursing efficiency is incredibly important. Equipped with intuitive ‘Twist2Turn’ valves, the Heritage II provides automatic right and left or bilateral turns to assist in a manual or provide automatic turning at variable times between 10 – 30 minutes.
Low Bed
The Medstrom Solo+ bed is manufactured at our facility in Castle Donington, UK. The Solo+ offers a unique and highly versatile hospital bed with an unrivalled height range for maximum patient and caregiver safety. The low height (21cm) reduces falls risks, and the unique programmable custom height function assists with safe mobilisation from the bed. The top height (83cm) ensures caregivers of all heights can work safely, reducing moving and handling risks and associated injuries.
TruComfort™ enables improved patient comfort during alternating as the deflated cell fully re-inflates before the next cell deflates, avoiding the uncomfortable sensation of conventional alternating pressure.
Located at both left and right foot-end of the mattress, the simple and easy to use 'Twist to Turn' valves give the caregiver full control as and when a turn is required.
