We’re now looking for a Laundry Technician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your Role:
To ensure the laundry process within the business is carried out with efficiency and accuracy, and in line with all documented best practice and regulatory requirements.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Working as part of the Oxford Service Team supporting all aspects from booking in of laundry through to the process of drying and inspection.
Use the computerised system to input and access data when required.
Assist with restocking, unloading of deliveries and stock takes
General cleaning of the department
Assist with other site duties when required

About You:

To be considered as a Laundry Technician you will need:

Experience of using computerised systems
Previous experience within a commercial laundry environment would be an advantage
Good level of general education to include GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
Ability to work shifts as required by the business
A motivated and methodical individual with the ability to work on their own initiative
Good organisational skills
Good communication skills
Ability to multi task and prioritise jobs accordingly

A full driving licence would be an advantage to support the wider team, but not essential as this role is site based. Experience within a hospital or caregiving environment would also be an advantage but is not essential.

Electrical safety testing qualification or certificate would be equally desirable but is not essential as full training will be provided.

Working hours – 37.5 hours per week
