Service Technician – Craigavon, Northern Ireland

We are looking for a Service Technician to join us and help provide a first-class service to customers based within the Craigavon area and providing support to hospitals within Ireland.


The Role: 

As a Service Technician, you’ll be tasked with delivering an effective and timely installation, removal and maintenance service to customers.  After training this will include the delivery and installation of products within agreed delivery times, repair and proactive maintenance and support at the delivery stage to customers in various environments.

Dealing with customers predominantly based in the Southern Trusts Hospitals sites ,  and also customers throughout Ireland , you will:

  • Deliver clean, ready-to-use, products to and around customer sites
  • Collect products after use and return to the service location for decontamination
  • Disinfect, function check, repair and electrical safety test products
  • Complete records of testing, delivery and collection
  • Maintain available product stock and spare parts inventory
  • Complete product modifications when required
  • Provide product demonstrations and basic training to staff
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment

As part of your role, you will be required to take part in the shift rota which includes early and late shifts and weekends. Once fully trained you will participate in the on-call rota (with additional payments).


Experience Needed:

To join us as a Service Technician, you will need:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene, health and safety rules
  • Basic PC skills including email and MS Office
  • A full driving licence with the confidence to drive long wheelbase vans, but training and support will be provided
  • A DBS check (which the company will conduct)
  • A proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude

Knowledge of mechanical or electrical elements would be an advantage, but this is not essential as training will be provided.
