WHAT WE DO

A day in the life of a Service Technician

8:30am

Report to Service Centre

Have a team de-brief, discuss planned jobs for the day, collect products needed for the service jobs listed on the PDA.

9:30am

First Customer Job

Once the vehicles checks are done and the van is loaded, drive to first customer job at local hospital. Delivering a new Medstrom bed and two new mattresses.

11:00am

Next Job

Begin drive to next job that’s come through on PDA.

11:45am

Pick up Mattresses

Arrive at customer. Pick up mattresses that need to go back to the service centre for cleaning and decontamination.

12:30pm

Arrive Back at Service Centre

Drop off used or damaged products to be cleaned and repaired. Check in with supervisor.

2:00pm

Check New Jobs

Check new jobs on PDA, collect more products if needed.

3:00pm

Carry out Customer Repairs

Drive to customer, to repair a broken bed, drop off clean mattresses and collect dirty products to be cleaned.

4:00pm

Return to Service Centre

Drive back to service centre to drop off the used products, clean and decontaminate products so they are ready for use. Check jobs for tomorrow and allocate the stock needed.
