The Riser Recliner PRO is the latest advancement in riser recliner functionality, achieving a bespoke seating solution for every patient.
UK manufactured and available in different widths from 20” through to 38”, the PRO range has been specially adapted to deliver reassuring stability and support, helping to promote early patient mobilisation.
Safety and stability when mobilising is key. The functionality of a riser recliner is to assist a patient from the sitting to the standing position, often when they have diminished core stability.
Medstrom’s Riser Recliner PRO range is designed to encourage effective rehabilitation and safe mobilisation thanks to achieving a lower seat height in comparison to traditional Riser Recliners. This provides an unrivalled height range to ensure even shorter patients are able to achieve an assisted-stand with their feet flat on the floor.
Designed with extremely strong structural parameters, the Medstrom Riser Recliner PRO is a stable mobilisation aid for vulnerable patients, including plus-size patients up to 444kg (34” and 38″ width models). Narrower arms provide further stability for patients by allowing them to achieve a superior grip during mobilisation. Overall, providing reassurance and empowering patient independence.
Five independent functions, providing freedom of movement including chair height, tilt, back rotation, leg rest, including an in-built, auto leg extension.

Seam-free technology, waterfall backrest, removable lumbar cushion and integrated therapeutic cushion all contribute to delivering enhanced pressure redistribution and protecting patient's skin from shear, friction and deterioration.
Automatic e-braking is incorporated into the handset as standard, helping to save caregivers time. The chair can also be uniquely raised onto its castors at the touch of a button, aiding easy transport and movement.
