Sales Support Administrator

Department: Sales Support
Location: Head Office, Castle Donington

Role Description:
Day to day responsibility for sales order processing, ensuring receipt and acknowledgement of customer orders are processed in a timely manner using Sage 200.

Day-to-day duties will include:

-Sales Order Process, receipt of order, sending acknowledgements, updating the sales and clinical teams and checking quotes
– Capital Purchase Order process, placing supplier purchase orders on Sage 200
– Reporting on order book progress to sales and management teams
– Processing of all sales invoices
– Credit control and chasing payment for capital purchases
– Supporting the Goods In process, downloading data from goods in system for import into Sage and i-tracker
– Attendance at Goods In weekly review meeting and report on backlog and issues faced relating to incoming deliveries, resource allocation and delays
– Asset creation on i-tracker
– General Enquiries from customers chasing orders, or from internal peers relating to customer orders and sales orders received
– Checking stock availability for internal staff
– Support the Sales Admin Manager with Ad hoc vehicle bookings and repairs
– Co-ordinating transport bookings for capital sales and imports from other external parties, ensuring deliveries are received on time and where delays occur, these are communicated to warehouse or customer immediately

Qualifications Required:
– Working knowledge of Sage 200 or 50 would be beneficial
– Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English or equivalent
– Experience in a sales order processing environment is essential
– Customer facing experience is essential with an ability to communicate at all levels
– Strong Microsoft skills, with a main focus on Excel
– Strong time management skills and a flexible attitude are essential
– Keen eye for detail
