Therapy Technician, Nottingham

Role Description:

To ensure delivery of service (PPM, maintenance, repairs, field modifications, delivery support) at a defined quality level in the most efficient way within Nottingham and the wider area as required. Main duties will include:

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • To deliver timely and appropriate service to customers
  • To keep inventory of products and spare parts
  • To ensure implementation of product modifications
  • To ensure compliance with quality processes, both internal and external
  • Availability for on-call rotations 24 hours x 7 days
  • To deliver and install clean and ready for use products to customers
  • To collect dirty or failing products from the customers
  • To clean, test, and repair products and make ready for use
  • To complete & record electrical safety testing on products during tasks
  • To provide demonstration and basic training to caregivers
  • To order spare parts, single-use goods and management of samples
  • To ensure cleanliness of workplace
  • To take good care of company vehicle and tools
  • To complete daily/ weekly activity reports
  • To update relevant IT systems

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

  • Mechanical or electrical background desirable but not essential
  • Experience within a hospital or care-giving environment would be an advantage
  • Electrical safety testing qualification certificate would be an advantage
  • Driving licence is essential

Personal Requirements:

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Knowledge of Medstrom & OEM products would be desirable
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety rules
  • Basic PC skills to include email and MS Office
  • DBS Checked
  • Ability to work under own initiative, and follow procedures laid out by the business to achieve deadlines
  • A proactive “can do” attitude with a flexible outlook is essential within the role

Hours of Work:

37.5 hours per week
